A Rare Regency Silver Mounted Caster

A gorgeous silver mounted caster from the Regency period. This delightful example has a tapering body with cross-hatch cutting to the corners and barrel cutting to the sides. There is a band of hobnail and slice cutting to the shoulders. The pull-off lid is hallmarked and has a domed top and cap finial. A wonderful example from the Georgian dining table, both practical and decorative and it's large capacity would serve either for pepper or a small sugar caster. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Very good with no splits or losses to the silver. The glass is very good with no chips or cracks.
