Heavy Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Jug 1861

Description

This is a heavy quality antique Victorian sterling silver jug hallmarked for Sheffield 1861 with the silversmiths mark for James Dixon & Son.

It measures 6" (15 cms) tall to the spout x 5" (13 cms) across including the handle x 3 1/2" (9 cms) deep.

It weighs 384 grams which gives some idea of the quality and is in excellent condition with super decoration.

It's gilded inside and there are no inscriptions or monograms.
