Pair of late C19th decorated Indian Kashmiri lamps.

Good tall pair of decorated wooden and papier-mâché lamps with open-work twisted stems , with all-over polychrome painted floral paisley style decoration on a dark green background in the traditional style of the region of Kashmir ,Northern India .

Each lamp raised on a circular base , the tops with a flared neck , and fitted with a patinated brass fitting and bulb-holder with switch.

In excellent original ready-to-use condition, having been re-wired using traditional style cotton-covered twist flex and PAT tested.
