A good Victorian solid silver christening mug tankard, fully hallmarked London 1872 by Charles Boyton.

A pretty mug, with engraved foliate decoration to the main body and further decoration to the borders and central cartouche. An usual handle, which features a characters face.

Complete with original deep claret silk and velvet lined fitted box.

In excellent condition, the engraved decoration crisp, the hallmarks and makers mark sharp and with no dents, dings or creases.
