Pair of Antique Glass Ceiling Lights

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a beautiful matching pair of glass floral ceiling light shades which date from the early 20th century. The light shades are a very light cream in colour and are hand painted with pink roses. They have their original brass hook fittings which are cushioned against the glass with a soft wool fabric and they are suspended on brass chains and solid brass ceiling cups, all cleanly polished and ready for use. One shade has a very tiny chip shown in last pic but this can not be seen at all when the lights are hung. Rare to find as a pair, these are a good size measuring 35 cms in diameter and 15 cms high, 50 cms including the fittings.
