Silver Sugar Tongs Sheffield 1937 by Viners

Description

Neat pair of solid silver sugar tongs with a unusual embossed design on each side.

 

Clear hallmarks are visible on the inside of the Tongs for the Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1937 and Lion Passant for sterling silver. The maker's mark is also visible for the renowned silversmiths: Viners.

 

Condition: These tongs are in great antique condition.

 

Measurements: Length 8.12 cms approx. Width: 2.6 cm approx.

Weight: 11.35 grams approx
