A very unusual and fine quality solid silver table lamp. The lamp is of a chamfered, faceted design typical of Art Deco period silver. The lamp is fully hallmarked for London 1932 and makers mark for the British Metallising Company Ltd, each seperate section is also marked. The lamp is impossible to weigh accurately but it is obviously cast with considerable silver. The whole is a fine decorative item and has always been a lamp, it is not converted from something else.
