Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Box with Worshipful Grocers Crest 1895

Description

This is an antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver trinket box measuring 3 1/2" (9 cms) x 2 3/4" (7 cms) x 1 1/2" (4 cms) high and hallmarked for London 1895 with the silversmiths mark for John Newton Mappin - it's also marked underneath 'Mappin & Webb, London'.

The silver is in great condition (any marks you can see are just reflections) and inside still has the original gilding and is nice and clean and ready for use.

It weighs 130 grams and has the Worshipful Company of Grocers crest on the lid with the words 'God Grant Grace'.
