This is an unusual lovely antique sterling silver and tortoiseshell photo frame hallmarked for London 1899 with the makers mark for Henry Stuart Brown.

It measures 5 1/2" (14 cms) tall x 5 1/4" (13 cms) across with the actual opening measuring 2 1/4" (5.5 cms) x 1 3/4" (4.5 cms).

The tortoiseshell has beautiful colour and the silver is in excellent condition.

The whole item is beautiful and is in the style of a clover or shamrock leaf.
