Antique Solid Silver Georgian Cream Jug 1799

Description

A lovely example of a Georgian solids sterling silver cream jug.

Hallmarked under the spout for London 1799, with a maker's mark which is probably that of George Burrows I. The jug has a pretty ribbon-effect bright cut decoration and there is a circular cartouche on the front, with a faint 'H' engraved into it. The silver is in good condition, with no tears of dents, The inside is not gilded, although it may appear so from the photographs.

Width (including handle): 11cm

Weight: 105g.
