Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver 10" Trophy with Dragon Handles 1908

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a stunning antique Edwardian hallmarked solid sterling silver trophy/presentation cup with two unusual dragon handles.

Overall it measures 10" (26 cms) tall x 11" (28 cms) across including the handles - the trophy without the base is 7" (18 cms) tall.

It's hallmarked for London 1908 with the silversmiths mark for Charles Boyton & Son.

The trophy sits on an ebonised base and the cup alone weighs 1141.70 grams which gives you an idea of the quality.

It is beautifully decorated with flowers in relief and it has two very impressive handles in the style of dragons with their wings spread out.

There are no inscriptions or monograms so it has plenty of space if you want to have it engraved.

The base and trophy together are heavy and weigh over 2 kg so will be sent via Royal Mail special delivery within the UK or via courier if it's going overseas.

Free worldwide fully insured shipping is included in the price.
