(Reserved PS) For sale this rare pair of Dromedary Pattern A, blue and white transfer print plates, circa 1815. Each plate has a diameter of approx. 25cm and approx. 2.3cm deep. Both are unmarked but are possibly by John Rogers & Son. An almost identical plate is illustrated plate no 73 page 57 Blue & White Transfer Ware by A W Coysh. One plate with rim crack, reverse staining, the other in good condition with only reverse staining and a shrinkage star crack to the base that does not run through to the front.
