Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Shell Butter Dish & Knife 1892

Description

This is a superb Victorian hallmarked sterling silver shell style butter dish with knife in the original presentation case.

The dish measures 5 1/4" (13.5 cms) long x 4" (10 cms) across and the knife is 5 1/2" (14 cms) long.

The items weigh 78.8 grams the lot and both are in excellent condition.

They have matching hallmarks for London 1892 with the silversmiths mark for Edward Hutton- the inside of the case shows the retailers mark 'Page, Keen & Page, Goldsmiths, Plymouth' .
