Silver Sugar Sifter Spoon Sheffield 1902

1900 - 1920
Description

A pretty and ornate, early Edwardian, solid silver Sifter Spoon. The bowl is pierced in a charming pattern and the terminal is beautifully ornate in a lovely pierced design. On the back of the terminal clear hallmarks are visible for the Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1902, along with the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and the maker's mark for Levesley Brothers (Thomas Levesley).

A very fine Sifter Spoon!

 

Condition: This spoon is in great antique condition.

 

Hallmarks and maker's marks: Sheffield 1902 by Levesley Brothers.

 

Measurements:

Length: 13.6 cm approx.

Width across bowl: 4 cm approx

Depth: 2 cm approx.
