Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
On the back of the terminal clear hallmarks are visible for the Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1902, along with the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and the maker's mark for Levesley Brothers (Thomas Levesley).
