Ornate Silver Napkin Ring Birmingham 1896

A most attractive, Victorian solid silver napkin ring. ornately decorative with fine embossing featuring lovely flower heads and swirls with an empty cartouch in the centre. The shape is convex with protruding rims at the top and bottom making the napkin very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It is a good heavy gauge silver.

Clear hallmarks are visible just under the top rim for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1896 and maker's marks for Constantine & Floyd. It also bears the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver.
