Exceptional Irish Silver Three Piece Tea Service

1900 - 1920
Description

A superb Irish silver heavy 3 piece tea set. Consists of a large teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug. The set is beautifully designed with flowing effect to the tops and ornate web feet. Very good gauge of silver and exudes quality throughout.

Dimensions:

Teapot 15cm high, 33cm wide spout to handle, weighs 743g.

Sugar 10cm high, 15.5cm wide handle to handle. weighs 266g.

Cream 10cm high, 12.5cm wide, weighs 194g.

Total weight for the set: 1203g.

Condition:

Shows little or no signs of use throughout. No dents or dings apart from a small bruise to the cream jug which is not particularly noticeable.

All pieces with a rampant lion crest.

Hallmarks: All pieces fully hallmarked for Dublin 1907 by Irish silversmith Charles Lambe.

Truly wonderful set.
