Description

This is a super pair of antique Edwardian hallmarked sterling silver shell style butter dishes with knives in their original presentation case.

The dishes each measure 4 3/4" (12 cms) long x 3 3/4" (9.5 cms) across and the knives are 5" (13 cms) long.

The items weigh 178.2 grams the lot and everything is in excellent condition.

All items have matching hallmarks for Sheffield 1906 and the silversmiths mark for Mappin & Webb - the inside of the case is also marked 'Mappin & Webb Ltd, Manufacturing Goldsmith & Silversmiths 24 & 26, St. Anne's Sq Manchester'.
