A Gorgeous Victorian Silver Thimble in Treen Acorn Case.

A gorgeous example of Victorian novelty silver sewing ware. The lovely treen thimble case contains a hallmarked silver thimble and is formed to represent an acorn. The interior has a silk lining to contain the thimble. The lid forms the acorn cap and has reeded turning. A fine collector's piece, usable today. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent with no dents, holes or splits to the thimble and no damage to the case. There is some tearing to the silk lining commensurate with age and use.
