The four cast silver legs and feet are quite exquisite creating a very elegant box.
There are two British hallmarks, one on the front and an edited version on the side of the lid. Struck in the year 1894 in the Sheffield assay office, the full hallmark to the front is slightly rubbed.
The underside again has the Walker and Hall flag mark together with the following: Walker and Hall, Sheffield, England / 6346.
Excellent condition measuring 3 1/2" at widest x 2 1/2" deep at legs x 4" tall to top of finial.
