Description

This is a very pretty, lady's solid sterling silver desk roller blotter.

The hallmarks are well hidden in the patterned top and are for Birmingham 1890, with the maker's mark of Henry Charles Freeman. The handle screws off to allow the silver lid to come free of the wooden base and so old blotting paper can be replaced. The lid is firmly attached and is in excellent condition. The wooden base has a few scratches and the red felt looks to be original.
