A pretty late 18th century solid silver oval TEAPOT STAND by the famous makers: Peter and Anne BATEMAN. Typical for the period, it is decorated with fine bright-cut engraving, with a reeded edge and its stands on four slender reeded legs. Fully hallmarked with particularly clear marks for London 1798. 7ins wide; 5ins deep. (17.75 x 12.75cms).
