To put it frankly, this is awesome. The square cushion shaped old cut diamond in the centre is rubover set in platinum and nestles within a fine and intricate navette cluster. With eighteen rose cut and twelve old eight-cut diamonds all secured in individual platinum cut-away settings. Sits nice and snug to the ring on a slim 18k yellow gold shank. Masterful.

Cut The centre is a square cushion shaped old cut. The smaller diamonds are rose cuts and old eight-cuts.
Colour The centre is T (light brown). The surrounding stones are G to J.
Clarity The centre is SI2. The surrounding stones are VS1 to SI2; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat The centre is 1.62. The total approximate weight of the surrounding stones is 0.50 carat. (2.12 carat total.)
Circa 1905.
Size L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements The centre, including the rubover surround, is 7.5 x 7.6mm. The head of the ring is 26.2 x 12mm. Sits 6.5mm from the finger.
