Kidney Shaped Heavy Solid Silver Napkin Ring Birmingham 1914

1900 - 1920
Description

A very fine, heavy gauge and most attractive solid silver napkin ring. The kidney shaped design of the napkin ring is most unusual (see photos). The top and bottom are decorated with a handsome protruding border of stylised flower and leaf motif. A particularly attractive napkin ring and nice and heavy in the hand. Clear hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay Office are visible on the inside of the ring along with a date mark for 1914 and the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. The maker's marks are rubbed.

 

Condition: This napkin ring is in great antique condition.

 

Hallmarks: Birmingham 1914
