Large Antique 1892 Silver Waltham Pocket Watch.

Description

Large antique 1892 silver Waltham pocket watch.

The watch has a key-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed A.M.Watch Co. Waltham, Mass and it has the serial number 5485039 which dates it back to 1892. A winding key is included. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 57.4mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and has Birmingham hallmarks for 1891 with the makers mark for Alfred Bedford, manager of Waltham, London. The case has some rubbing to the engine turned detail and a small "ding" to the back but overall it is in nice condition for an 1890s piece.

The glass lens is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial is signed A.W.W.Co, Waltham, Mass and is in nice condition.

The watch has gold hands and blued steel sub second hand.(The hour hand is possibly later and slightly darker than the minute hand)

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.
