Antique 9 Carat Gold, Pearl and Amethyst Necklace

Description

This is a very elegant 9 carat gold and cultured pearl necklace, set with amethysts. The pearls of around 5mm are strung in groups of eight separated by the amethyst cabochons, each of which is flanked by solid gold rope twist discs. The solid gold clasp which also has rope twist decoration shows marks for London 1908. The necklace is 46 cms long and is in excellent condition. It is set within a later vintage necklace case.
