Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The tops pull off nicely , are perforated and each has a neat finial. Very clear hallmarks are visible on both the bases and the inside lip of the tops for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1934 and the Lion Passant to indicate sterling silver. The maker's mark is for the finest quality makers: Adie Brothers Limited.
