The Silver Cabinet has dated this piece to the 1930s.
This one is in the classic star burst design. The solid sterling silver lid is clearly hallmarked for Chester 1935, with the maker's mark of S Blanckensee & Sons Ltd. Both the glass and silver are in excellent condition. The label is hallmarked Birmingham 1904 and carries the maker's mark of Herbert Bushell & Co Ltd.

This noggin is one of a pair which are listed separately.
