6 Antique Georgian Silver Paul Storr Forks

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: The Silver Cabinet

A marvellous set of six, solid sterling silver dinner forks, by the master Georgian silversmith Paul Storr.

From the reign of George III, these forks are clearly hallmarked for London 1813, with the maker''s mark for Paul Storr on all but one fork, which carries no maker''s mark at all. (This lack of maker''s mark on one fork is reflected in the price.) The forks are clearly a set, made in the Hanoverian Pattern and carrying no engravings. The silver is in excellent condition.
