Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Jug & Bowl in Presentation Case 1853

Description

This is a superb antique Victorian sterling silver sugar bowl and jug in their original presentation case which is marked inside the lid 'Spink & Son, 1 & 2, Gracechurch St, E.C. & 17 & 18, Piccadilly.W.London'.

The bowl measures 6 3/4" (17 cms) across from handle to handle x 4 1/4" (11 cms) high to the rim and the jug is 4 1/2" (11.5 cms) across from handle to spout x 4 1/2" (11.5 cms) high to rim.

They weigh 558 grams the pair and are in excellent condition with no inscriptions or monograms - any marks you can see on the silver are just reflections.

They have matching hallmarks for London 1853 with the silversmiths mark for Daniel & Charles Houle
