Victorian Glass & Silver Inkwell, 1901

Description

A late Victorian cut glass and silver desk inkwell, with cube shaped glass inkwell with chamfered corners and a hobnail base, mounted with a silver top and hinged lid, hallmarked Birmingham 1901.

A stylish and good looking example with circular domed lid and reeded detail.

The inkwell measures 2.5 inches square.

In excellent overall condition, a tiny slither chip to the back face at the bottom. It is very minor and mentioned only for accuracy, does not detract from this lovely inkwell.
