Description

A very rare pair of solid silver plates to celebrate the coronation of Edward VIII in 1937.

A beautifully compiled set by the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Limited, each plate hallmarked London 1936.

In beautiful original condition, hallmarks sharp and clear. The presentation case also in excellent condition.

Each plate weighs 48 grams and measure 3.5 inches in diameter (maximum)
