Antique Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Photo Frame 1904 - Butterflies

Description

This is a superb antique Art Nouveau hallmarked sterling silver photo frame decorated with butterflies and flowers.

It measures 6 1/4" (16 cms) tall x 5" (12.5 cms) with the opening measuring 3 1/2" (9 cms) x 3 1/4" (8.5 cms).

It's hallmarked for Birmingham 1904 with the Rd no. 444619 and the silversmiths mark for John Atkins & Sons who were specialist makers of fine silver antiques in the Art Nouveau Style.

It's in excellent condition with no signs of damage or wear and it has the original solid oak back which works perfectly.
