9 Ct Rose Gold Buckle Band Ring Chester 1902

A most attractive, Edwardian, buckle ring. The design of the ring is in the form of a buckle (although the ring does not open as a buckle), which is adorned with lovely sycamore shaped leaves. Made from a lovely coloured rose gold, the ring is fully hallmarked on the inside of the band for Chester Assay Office with a date mark for 1902. Maker's initials are also clearly visible: 'JG'. along with the marks for 9 carat gold.

 

Condition: This ring is is great antique condition.

 

Hallmarks: Chester 1902, 9 carat gold, by maker JG.

Measurements: Width of band at widest part (where the buckle falls): 11.39mm approx.

 

Width of base of band: 8.05mm approx.
