Description

A pair of later decorated George IV silver and gilt spoons dating from London 1822. The spoons are presented boxed in excellent condition, the length of each spoon has a beautiful intricate scrolling design, towards the top of the spoons is a vacant cartouche. On the reverse each spoon has clearly struck hallmarks for London 1822. The bowls of each spoon are crisply patterned with the standard berry design, the inside of each bowl have a layer of gilt, which is in excellent condition. The maximum length of the spoons are 22.5cm , and the maximum width of the bowls are 5cm. Overall a wonderful collectors piece.
