Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
Two iconic art nouveau style handles protrude on either side. The stem meets a circular base that flares outward to form the stand. Clear hallmarks are visible on the side of the cup for Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1912, along with the renowned maker's mark: James Deakin & Sons.
