A Superb Early Victorian Silver Gilt Egg Cup.

A superb silver egg cup from the beginning of the Victorian era. This good quality example is of very good gauge silver, has a pedestal base and a flared body with acanthus engraved pattern. The interior is fully gilded. Silver egg cups are sought after items, being practical and lovely gift ideas.

Condition :- Very good, with no splits or dents. There is a small line to the inside, barely noticeable from the outside and commensurate with age and use.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable. No maker's mark.

Date :- London 1839.

Diameter :- 5 cms. (to outside of rim).

Height :- 7 cms.
