This is a super antique Scottish sterling silver jug hallmarked for Edinburgh 1837 with the silversmiths mark for Mackay & Chisholm who worked from Princes St, Edinburgh.

It measures 6" (15 cms) tall to the top of the handle x 5 1/4" (13 cms) x 3 1/2" (9 cms).

It weighs 229.5 grams, it's in excellent condition (any marks you can see are just reflections) and has beautiful decoration of flowers all around the body and the rim.
