Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
Hallmarks, along with the Lion Passant (indicating sterling silver) can be clearly seen on the front of the salver: Chester 1923. The maker’s marks are also very clearly visible: A.W. (these initials are recorded at the Chester Assay office, however, there is no full name identifiable with the mark).

Condition: This salver is in great antique condition. The silver has no dings or dents visible and no tarnish marks. The hallmarks and maker’s marks are very clearly visible.
