Unusual Antique Victorian Sterling Silver 'The Maze, Morton's Patent' Vesta Case 1895

This is an unusual antique Victorian sterling silver vesta case measuring 2" (5 cms) tall x 1 1/4" (3 cms) across and hallmarked for Birmingham 1895 with the silversmiths mark M & C.

It's in super condition with no damage and is marked 'Morton's Patent, The Maze' - you can see in the photos how the opening has an unusual shutter style closing which works as you turn the top of the vesta.

It weighs 20.8 grams .
