Antique Edwardian Solid Silver Blotter

1900 - 1920
Description

An unusual solid sterling silver-handled 'roller' blotter.

The lovely, repousse handle carries import marks for Chester 1903, with the importer's name, J C Plimpton & Co.

This is a pretty item. The roller itself is wooden and is firmly attached to the handle. I have wrapped new blotting paper around the roller, which can be easily removed and replaced with a different colour.

Width: 9cm.
