Silver Heart Shaped Toast Rack Birmingham 1911

1900 - 1920
Description

A stunning solid silver toast rack, in a most unusual design. Five hearts form the basis of the rack with a further heart on the top, as the handle. The rack sits on four ball feet. Clear hallmarks and maker's mark are visible (see photograph 6): Birmingham 1911 by Elkington & Co.

 

Condition: This toast rack is in great antique conditon. It is not misshappen and has no visible dents or dings to the silver.

 

Hallmarks: Birmingham 1911 by maker: Elkington & Co.

 

Measurements:

Height: 9.8 cm approx.

Width: 9.6 cm approx.

Depth: 5.8 cm approx.
