Description

A superb early Victorian silver Christening mug , with acanthus decoration and on a raised and decorated foot. The body is wrythen and waisted and it has a fine fully cast handle repeating the acanthus leaf motifs. The gauge of silver is very good, it has a capacity of half a pint and the interior is fully gilded, making it an excellent gift idea.
