A superb solid silver Christening Mug. A beautifully designed shape, there is an attractive single band around the top of the mug, with no engravings or embossing to the silver. The style of the handle adds to the attractiveness of this jug. Clear hallmarks and maker's marks are clearly visible on the side of the jug: Chester 1940 by the renowned maker: Blanckensee & Sons Ltd.

 

Condition: This Christening jug is in great used condition with no visible dents or dings to the silver. The hallmarks are clear and crisp. The silver is nicely polished.
