Unusually Shaped Silver Vesta Case Chester 1903

An unusually shaped, Edwardian solid silver Vesta case. This case is very attractively engraved with flora and fauna to the front and swirls to the back, There is an empty diagonal band running across each side. Nicely hinged to one side the lid opens perfectly and closes with a nice click. Clear hallmarks and maker's marks are visible on the inside underneath the lid lip: Chester 1903 made by Boots Pure Drug Company.

There is a lovely loop for fastening at the top.

Condition:

This vesta case is in great used condition. Only a couple of slight dings on two corners on the opening side see image 3. The lid opens and closes perfectly.

Including loop; 5 cm x 3.1 cm approx
