Pair of Antique Georgian Sterling Silver 11" Candlesticks 1826

Description

This is a very impressive pair of antique Georgian sterling silver candlesticks measuring 11” (28 cms) high x 5 1/4" (13 cms) across the bases.

They are both hallmarked for Sheffield 1825 with the silversmiths mark for John & Thomas Settle, Gunn & Co and the sconces have matching makers marks but one of them is hallmarked for 1826.

They have superb decoration in excellent condition.

Underneath is green baize, they have filled bases and weigh a total of 1934 grams.
