An antique Persian carpet from the celebrated workshop of Zeiglar and Co in Sultanabad (now Arak). This very rare and supremely decorative carpet was discovered recently in the garage of a large Welsh house where it had been rolled for many years. It is subsequently in extraordinary condition, full pile all over with original ends and sides and virtually no repair.
This carpet is an original Zieglar and not to be confused with modern ''Zieglars'' which are made in Pakistan.
