Description

Sheffield 1903 English hallmarked solid silver set of 4 generous and heavy egg cups made by Mark Willis, and including 4 spoons.

The large sized egg cup with c scroll handle stands on a turned stem with turned pedestal base. The fold over edges of the bowl have a subtle ruffled pattern.

A very elegant and stylish set, and most functional for serving individual boiled eggs.

Unusual to find with such a heavy weight and gauge in solid silver, and with handles.

Size-2 7/8 inches high including handle, by 2 inches diameter bowl, or 2.5 inches including handle.

Includes very complementary set of 4 solid silver Sheffield 1935 hallmarked heavy spoons made by Emile Viner.

Weight-240 grams egg cups, and 60 grams spoons.

Spoons 4 3/8 inches long.

An excellent quality set of egg cups with spoons, in very good condition.
