Pair Shell Design Dolphin Feet Silver Salts London 1877

An exquisite pair of beautifully designed silver salt dishes each with original salt spoons. Each dish is designed in the form of a scallop shell with a handle to the side and a pale gilt to the inside. The three feet on each salt dish are in the form of perfecty detailed dolphins. Clear hallmarks and maker's marks can be seen on the base of each dish: London 1877 by Henry Holland.

 

The original salt spoons are also have the same hallmarks and maker's marks as the dishes and the inside of the bowls are pale gilt.

 

Condition:

Both the silver dishes and the salt spoons are in excellent used condition.
