Description

This is an unusual antique Victorian sterling silver jug hallmarked for London 1853 with the silversmiths mark for Edward & John Barnard and is also marked underneath with the retailers mark 'Widdowson & Veale of The Strand in London'.

It's particularly nice as the top of the handle is in the style of a rams head and the base of the handle is decorated with oak leaves.

It measures 6 1/2" (17 cms) tall x 4" (10 cms) from spout to handle x 3 1/4" (8 cms). It weighs 286 grams and is in super condition (any marks you can see are just reflections) .
