Description

This is a superb antique Edwardian hallmarked sterling silver teapot weighing 513.6 grams and measuring 8 3/4" (22 cms) across from handle to tip of spout x 6 1/4" (16 cms) tall to the top of the finial and the whole thing is in excellent condition.

It has the silversmiths mark for John Millward Banks and is hallmarked for Chester 1904.

This lovely teapot is nice and clean inside making it perfectly usable and it holds 1 pint.

It has lovely decoration all round with beautiful scenes of animals including birds, animals and lion head mounts on the paw feet.
